About you

As a Software Engineer at brand.ai, you share our commitment to craft, quality, and the rejection of good-enough culture. This is a hands-on building role for an engineer who wants to ship real features, stay close to customers, and grow quickly as we scale.

Working alongside senior engineers, product, and design, you turn ambitious creative ideas into reliable software. You're also one of the people customers count on when something needs to work, treating customer trust as core engineering work rather than an afterthought.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and ship customer-facing features across our TypeScript/Node.js stack
• Write clean, well-tested code and help maintain a codebase the team is proud of
• Investigate and resolve customer issues, partnering with the Solutions & Success team
• Turn recurring customer pain points into durable product improvements
• Raise the bar through thoughtful code reviews and a high standard for the details

What we're looking for

• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally at a startup
• Strong backend and/or full-stack fundamentals (TypeScript/Node.js required)
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• A bias toward action and genuine care for the people using what you build
• Curiosity about AI and how it's reshaping creative workflows (hands-on a plus, not required)
• Based in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone, or an equivalent offset (UTC-5, for example Colombia, Peru, or Ecuador), for real-time overlap with the team
