About us

brand.ai is the system of record for brand. Brand is not a logo or a set of guidelines. It is the accumulated judgment of a company, and it shows up in every product decision, every piece of work, every customer interaction. The brand teams we work with are custodians of that judgment while thousands of hands, and now thousands of agents, produce against it.

brand.ai gives those teams one governed, machine-readable source for their brand, and puts it to work across the tools their company already runs on. Brand OS holds everything a company knows about its brand: strategy, guidelines, assets, research, and the rules that were never written down, structured so software can act on them. Studio is where teams create, review, and ship against it. Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront, Figma, Microsoft 365, and a company's own systems read from the same source over API and MCP, so work starts on brand and stays there.

Delta, Docusign, Burton, Mutual of Omaha, GetYourGuide, Wasserman, and Toro run on brand.ai. Two of the largest technology companies in the world and one of the largest apparel groups are in paid pilots. We are 9 months into monetizing, backed by Uncork, Designer Fund, K5, and Heavybit, and building toward a Series A.

About the role

We are hiring our first account executive to sell alongside our VP of Sales, Taylor Lepczyk, who built enterprise teams at Slack, Loom, Writer, and Sierra. The playbook is being written now. You will help write it, and you will own your own book from the first week.

Our buyer is a CMO, head of brand, or creative operations leader at a Fortune 500 company. They are sharp, busy, and allergic to hype. They bring in IT, security, and procurement once they believe. Your job is to make them believe, then run the buying process to signature without dropping a thread. Deals move through a paid three-month proof of concept into a platform contract, and both count toward your number.

You are selling a new category to a buyer who has been sold "AI for marketing" a dozen times this year. The difference lands when they see their own brand running on the platform, checked against their own rules, inside the tools their teams already use. The brand engineers and solutions team build that for you. Your job is to earn the room, run the process, and close.

This is a role for someone who wants to build the enterprise motion at brand.ai, not inherit one.

What you'll do

  • Build and own pipeline in named Fortune 500 accounts, with founders, referrals, and warm intros behind you. Most of your pipeline will come from your own outbound
  • Run the full cycle from first call through paid POC, security review, procurement, and contract
  • Lead first calls that get an executive imagining what their brand could do, then turn that into a mutual action plan with dates and owners
  • Qualify fast, advance every deal on a schedule, and know when to walk
  • Multi-thread every account across brand, marketing, IT, and finance, and know where the deal really stands
  • Work with Solutions and Success and our brand engineers to shape each personalized demo and POC around the prospect's own brand
  • Keep the CRM true. Callahan, our sales agent, drafts follow-ups and runs deal hygiene for you, and he is only as good as what you feed him
  • Write down what works. Your first calls, your objection handling, and your POC structure become the playbook the next hire runs
  • Bring what you hear back to the VP of Sales and to product. You are the closest person to the market

You may be a good fit if you have

  • 5+ years closing enterprise software as a full-cycle individual contributor, with a documented record of quota attainment and six-figure deals into Fortune 500 or Global 2000 accounts
  • Sold at a company where the playbook was still being written, and helped write it
  • Run cycles that included a paid pilot, a security review, and enterprise procurement, and closed them
  • A way of running deals on paper. Mutual action plans, MEDDPICC or something like it, a clear next step on every account, every week
  • Held an executive conversation about a company's brand and handled a procurement negotiation the same afternoon
  • Sold something new, where the category had to be explained before the product could be
  • Used AI in your own work and can explain it plainly to someone who doesn't
  • Honesty about where a deal stands, with the customer, with the pipeline, and with yourself

What will make you stand out

  • You have sold into brand, marketing, creative, or design buyers, or a product adjacent to that world (design tools, content platforms, martech, enterprise AI)
  • You were one of the first sellers at a company that later scaled
  • You have a point of view on how AI is changing brand and creative work, and it's your own

How we hire

Send your resume and a short note about the hardest enterprise deal you closed and what made it hard. Strong candidates run a first-call exercise on a real brand with the VP of Sales, then meet the founders. We move quickly and tell you where you stand.

We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every line above. Nobody does.
