About you

We're seeking a Head of Editorial with exceptional international perspective and cultural fluency. You'll shape our editorial vision at the intersection of AI, global culture, and refined taste -- translating technological transformation into compelling narratives that resonate across continents. This role requires someone who thinks in multiple cultural registers, understands how AI discourse unfolds from Tokyo to Berlin to São Paulo, and can position brand.ai as essential reading for the global creative intelligentsia.

What you'll do

  • Define editorial vision and voice across international cultural contexts
  • Oversee sophisticated content exploring AI, design, culture, and their intersections
  • Commission and edit pieces from leading global thinkers and cultural critics
  • Build relationships with international tastemakers and cultural institutions
  • Translate complex AI concepts into culturally resonant narratives
  • Collaborate with product and brand teams on strategic direction

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years editorial leadership in design, technology, culture, or art sectors
  • International perspective with deep understanding of multiple cultural contexts
  • Exceptional aesthetic judgment and refined curatorial sensibility
  • Track record at respected international publications or cultural institutions
  • Deep knowledge of contemporary design, art, and cultural movements globally
  • Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI and technological transformation
  • Established network within global creative and cultural communities
  • Portfolio showcasing sophisticated content direction and cultural fluency
