About you

We're seeking a Design Engineer who thrives at the intersection of visual craft and technical implementation. This is a role for someone who can conceptualize elegant user experiences and build them end-to-end -- from the polish of micro-interactions to the architecture of scalable full-stack systems. You'll be instrumental in shaping how sophisticated brand professionals interact with AI technology. This role is particularly unique because you'll be building interfaces for customers who are navigating the real and immediate impact AI is having on their work -- the societal, philosophical, and economic transformations reshaping how brands operate. You'll need to understand both the technical capabilities of AI systems and the cultural context that makes them meaningful to creative professionals.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement sophisticated UIs that make AI accessible and delightful
• Build complete features from frontend to backend with full-stack ownership
• Create design systems, animations, and micro-interactions
• Integrate AI models and capabilities into intuitive interfaces
• Prototype rapidly to validate concepts before full implementation
• Partner with founders on product vision and features

What we're looking for

• 5+ years building modern web applications with design sensibility
• Expert-level React, TypeScript, and modern frontend
• Strong full-stack capabilities (Node.js, Python, databases, APIs)
• Experience integrating LLMs and AI models into production apps
• Design tools proficiency (Figma) with pixel-perfect implementation
• Portfolio showing visual design excellence and technical quality
• Understanding of brand strategy and creative workflows
